HOW IT STARTED
It was 2019. Our founder, Sanjay Patel, attended a large wedding in Surat. Over 800 guests were present, a professional photographer captured thousands of stunning moments — but a week later, barely 50 people had actually received their photos.
The photographer had to manually sort, filter, and send hundreds of files. Guests grew impatient. Memories faded. That experience planted a seed: what if every guest could receive their personal photos instantly, automatically?
OUR JOURNEY
IT FUTURZ was established in Surat, Gujarat, with a mission to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions to businesses across India. We began with web development, mobile apps, and enterprise software.
After witnessing the chaos of post-event photo distribution firsthand, our team began exploring AI facial recognition as a solution. Early prototypes showed incredible promise — matching faces with over 90% accuracy.
We partnered with AI researchers and deployed our face-matching engine across dozens of test events. The system evolved to handle large crowds, poor lighting conditions, and mixed-angle photography.
PicTik went live with its first version, offering photographers a dashboard to upload event photos and automatically deliver matched galleries to guests via WhatsApp — within seconds of upload.
Over 500 professional photographers and studios joined the platform. PicTik processed over 2 million photos, covering weddings, corporate events, concerts, marathons, and school graduations across 15+ cities.
We launched PicTik AI 2.0 — with real-time face matching, video highlight generation, and a fully redesigned mobile app. Our vision: to become the world's fastest, most personal event memory platform.
