Welcome to the PicTik Photographer Privacy Policy. PicTik (developed by IT FUTURZ) provides a platform for photographers, studios, and agencies ("Photographers") to create events, upload images, and instantly deliver photographs to event guests using AI facial recognition matching.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the personal information and photographic assets of registered Photographers. By registering a photographer account, buying credits, or uploading photos to our services, you agree to the terms in this policy.
2. Information Collection
We collect essential details to manage your photographer dashboard and handle delivery billing:
- Studio & Profile Details: Your name, company/studio name, phone number, email address, physical address, and tax identification details (such as GSTIN).
- Uploaded Assets: Digital photographs, custom watermark templates, studio logos, and event descriptions uploaded to our servers.
- Billing Records: Purchase history for upload credits, subscription selections, and invoices. We do not store raw credit card numbers; all payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party gateways.
3. Image Ownership & Rights
We respect your creative work and intellectual property:
- Retained Ownership: You retain full copyright and ownership of all photographs and logo files you upload to the PicTik platform.
- License to PicTik: You grant PicTik a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, compress, process, and transmit your uploaded photos for the sole purpose of executing facial matching and delivering matched photos to your event guests.
- Watermarking: We offer automated tools to overlay your watermarks on preview images. You control when high-resolution, unwatermarked downloads are released to guests.
4. Account Deletion & Purging
You have full authority over your account data. You can delete individual events or your entire account at any time:
- Event Deletion: Deleting an event from your dashboard instantly pulls all matched links offline and marks all raw images for immediate deletion.
- Account Purging: To permanently close your studio account and erase all database records, you must request deletion through our Account Deletion Portal.
- Purge Duration: Upon submitting the request, your studio profile, active event galleries, raw uploaded photos, customer lists, and watermark settings will be completely purged from our servers within 14 business days. Any unused credits will be permanently forfeited.
